A front Spoiler is an automotive body component in the front of a car that is designed to break or spoil the unfavourable air current flow across the body of a moving car. Known also an ‘Air Dam’, front spoiler is attached beneath the front of the car to direct the air flow to reduce the amount of air flowing underneath the vehicle. This results in a reduction in aerodynamic lift and drag.

Front spoilers are often fitted to race and high-performance sports cars, although they have become common on passenger vehicles as well. Some spoilers are added to cars primarily for styling purposes and have either little aerodynamic benefit or even make the aerodynamics worse.
